Science of the Arts: Paint Night with Code with Canada Learning Code

Come create beautiful art while learning about computer science! Learn fundamentals of computer programming, and use JavaScript amd simple math to create beautiful generative art while being instructed and mentored by local industry experts!

Beginner-friendly - no experience or paint necessary! Participants must bring their own laptop.

This event is designed for adults and teens 15+ years old, but is also suitable for those 11-14 years old with a guardian working with them.

Light snack provided.

This event is part of our series The Science of the Arts. 2024 was named the year of the Arts in NL and to celebrate, the Johnson Geo Centre has put together an exciting event series, The Science of the Arts, that will explore the relationship between Arts and Sciences.
