Solar Eclipse Bus Tour
On April 8, 2024, Gander, NL, will be in the path of a total solar eclipse.
Here in St. John's, we will experience 99.21% totality, so 0.8% of the Sun
will still be visible past our Moon. The last time any location in
Newfoundland experienced a total solar eclipse was 1972, and after the
eclipse on April 8, 2024, the next time will be May 1, 2079.
